The duration of the Anubis cloaking device has been increased to forty seconds. This is a server-side change, so no client updates are required for it to take effect - though if you were on the server at the time of the change, you will have to leave and rejoin for the updated settings to take effect.

Thoughts?

I like it. Makes the cloak actually worth getting, without unbalancing anything.

I think the cloak timing is pretty on the money now.

I would be in favor of doubling the time again for an Anubis MkII and make it insanely expensive, like 5 to 10 million.

The insane price would help maintain balance both with the economy and to keep people from buying fleets of them.

No difference between the original and the MkII besides cloak duration.

We are always trying to find cool stuff to spend money on to help balance the economy here. :D

I agree with the main part of you post Mank, except this bit :/

I mean, yeah, make it pretty expensive, but isn't a little TOO expensive? I mean, maybe 3.5 to 7 mill? Still expensive, but still affordable....

I'd be opposed to an Anubis MK II with a cloak. In my opinion that'd be taking things too far here.

There would be nothing different between the Anubis now and the MKII besides cloak duration.

I am not talking about a FLU Anubis MKII.

A ship costing that much doesn't make any sense in stock FL. Alhough I honestly believe every ship should cost a lot more than they currently do, we won't be adding in any that expensive.

So you think ships should cost more than the weapon systems you put on them, especially at the higher tech levels? I would have to agree...

I would be in favor of a ship price increase of 25% across the board, not exactly true vanilla, but it helps with the economy.

I would be in favor of some kind of price bump, but unfortunately we could only make it affect ProcyonHook users, so players could just disable it before buying a ship. If and when we make PH mandatory (extremely unlikely and far off) we might be able to explore this and similar ideas, but for now it's not tangible.
